Additional Information

• Must be 18 years old to rent a boat
• There are no special licenses required to rent, however, it is recommended for all drivers born on or after Jan 1st, 1988 to have completed a boaters safety course. The Boater’s safety course can be taken for free at https://www.boatus.org/free/
• Fishing is allowed from the Boat. Fishing licenses are required in NC and can be purchased from many local bait & tackle shops. NC Fishing licenses can be purchased online at https://www.ncalvin.org/AlvinMVC/Customer/Search
• Towing is prohibited from the boat. You are welcome to bring an inner tube to float on in the Pamlico Sound.
• Boat rentals will include the following: Fuel, Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs), swim ladders, anchor, and emergency safety equipment. Multi day rentals will be required to return the boat in the manner as it was delivered in.
• PFDs are provided for everyone on the boat, and children 12 and under are required to wear them while the boat is underway.
• Pets are allowed on the boat. You do assume full responsibility for the animal on the boat.
• Food and drinks are allowed on the boat. You are responsible for the collection of any trash prior to leaving the boat.
• If you would like to stay longer please contact the main office. We may be able to provide extensions day-of if the boat is not booked.
